This website, www.northhaus.io, is operated by a sole trader trading as "Northhaus", a UK design studio.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Using this website
You may browse and use this website for personal, lawful purposes. You must not misuse it. That means you must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape it at scale, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove content at any time.
3. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all content on this website is owned by Northhaus or used with permission. That includes designs, text, graphics, logos, code and portfolio work. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our written permission, except as allowed by law.
4. Digital products
Buying
Our digital products (HTML planners, organisers and guides) are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. When you buy, your contract of sale is with Lemon Squeezy and is governed by the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms: https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/buyer-terms. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, tax, receipts and delivery.
Cancellation and refunds
In line with Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms, you lose your right to cancel a digital download once the download begins. Refund requests are handled by Lemon Squeezy on a case-by-case basis.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. If a file is faulty, won't open, or isn't as described, email us at northhaus.io@outlook.com and we'll help put it right.
Product licence
When you buy a product, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal use. You may not:
- resell, sublicense or share the product or any part of it
- redistribute it, whether paid or free, including by uploading it to other websites or file-sharing services
- claim it as your own work, or use it as the basis for a product you sell
Information only
Our planners and guides, including those covering divorce, funerals, budgeting, self-employment and setting up a limited company, provide general information to help you get organised. They are not legal, financial, tax or professional advice. Check your own circumstances with a qualified adviser or the relevant official source (for example GOV.UK, mygov.scot, HMRC or Companies House) before making decisions.
5. Design services
Website, graphic design and branding projects are carried out under a separate written quote or agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes priority. [CONFIRM – do you use a written quote or contract for client work?]
6. Links to other websites
This site links to third-party websites, such as Lemon Squeezy and Instagram. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
7. Our liability
We are not liable for any loss that wasn't reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses (such as lost profit, revenue or data) arising from your use of this website.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you use the site applies.
9. Governing law
These terms, and your use of this website, are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Purchases of digital products are governed by the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms, not these terms, except where these terms set out our product licence and our commitment to help with faulty or misdescribed files.
